internet explorer 7 windows vista 5384

I have installed Windows Vista 5384 and I have a very curious problem, I cannot browse any external page with Internet Explorer 7, I can only browse intranet pages on my company. Besides, I can´t connecto to internet with other programs that depends on Internet Explorer like messenger... But I can browse the internet with Firefox with no problems and Windows Update is working fine since it downloaded some updates just after the installation of the OS.
I am using Trend Micro PC-Cillin for Vista as my firewall and antivirus, I have already checked that internet explorer is free to surf and all that stuff, but even so... is not working...
Can somebody gime me a light in this matter?

Please try this and see if it works.
In Internet Explorer:
- Click the Tools button - Click Interne Options - Click Connections - Click LAN Settings - Uncheck Automatically detect settings - Make sure Use a proxy server is unchecked
